UNDER CONSTRUCTION BUT HERE IS A COMMERCIAL FROM A DIFFERENT ERA - it recently arrived by email

 

I grew up playing in and around the station and remember vividly the inn. At one time the station was used as a stable , I remember a post office and going to get the mail there . The old theatre and fishing behind it with Van Johnson asking to use my fishing pole between acts . Our familys cottages were in the little circle and a cottage was rented by the theatre for for the stars on the point <breezy point> . I remember betsy palmer, groucho marks, giselle mc Kenzie, and a few others - what a great place to grow up. In a recent visit it was sad to see all that has gone but the land marks are burned in memory, that long lawn in front of the inn and flower beds and the porch with the wicker furniture and rockers full of people escaping the city, the partys that were open to the park residents as well as guests.
