PICKLE IN THE PARK
OUTDOOR COURTS
This membership club is the successor to the Sacandaga Tennis Club. It uses the renovated courts of the former Adirondack Inn; a pretty and protected setting surrounded by trees. There are four dedicated outdoor pickleball courts plus a fifth one that is double-lined for both tennis and pickleball, The club has over 100 members and players at all skill levels. Guest players are welcome.
When Covid struck in 2021 and indoor public courts closed, the club constructed an indoor court building directly next to the outdoor courts. It is now extensively used during the winter, at night (noise remediation) and for inclement weather in all four seasons. The indoor court and parking area were the last pieces of development of the 10acre parcel.

The indoor court building provides a regulation size court, social space, toilet , shower, and storage. It has radiant floor heating throughout
INDOOR COURT ACTION
The indoor court is used extensively. It has a special laminate floor surface that works with a wide range of indoor and outdoor balls. The wall padding has images of historic Sacandaga Park.
CLUB TOURNAMENT DAY
The club mixes recreational and competitive play. Coaching sessions bring players up to >3.0 level. There is a core of tournament players.
INDOOR COURT CONSTRUCTION
The indoor court was built during the pandemic when public courts were closed. Because of the added expense we refer to it as the "Pickleball Palace".
